SEKENANI CKC PUPILS MINI-LIBRARY.

The sekenani community knowledge center is offering reading materials to pupils of 5 primary schools at nearby Sekanani area.

The center intergrates IT learning with kenya curriculum for primary education.

The center has few reading & writing Books for lower primary pupils as from Age 4-12 years.

The inniative has been welcome greatly by all the Mara community and headteachers of All the Primary schools in mara. Thanks for Hital muraj and her friends for donating the books.

CKC Being a resource center for learning, the kids will have an opportunity to learn and acquire skills and knowledge regarding their carreers.

Not only being the only library within Mara Division offering this services and no fee, but also we provide coaching skills to the pupils. Pupils will have an opportunity to learn in a conducive environment outside their normal routine class work. By doing so the pupils will have a chance to share and exchange knowledge with the other IT students learning basic computer skills and thus improve on their class performance.

This is just a beginning.Currently we are using the same room with IT students but in the near future we wound like to expand and have a seperate room fully equiped with all relevant learning materials for the pupils to read and learn more thus gaining knowledge as the saying goes knowledge is power.

It is our appeal to all welwishers to support us with any relevant reading and writing materials or expansion of the room to accomodate more pupils. Any assistance accorded to us will highly be appreciated.
